What if today's objects were tomorrows fossils?

Faux Fossils are today's objects placed in a distant future. These sculptures are faux minerals that filled the empty spaces between streets and alleyways.

What if you had x-ray vision?

Dinosaur bones are embedded in rock beneath the earth.  With imaging technology that sends sound waves into the earth, fossils can be seen deep within stone. The sculptor Michaelangelo wrote about his ability to sense a figure within the stone he was about to carve.  Today I imagine those same dinosaur bones being dissolved and replaced with the plastics and synthetics of the 21st century.
