This is a collaboration set up by the Burchfield Penney Art Center, for their Art On Wheels project, between Veridian Technologies (crash test study) and artist John Toth..Includes, the EBMA performance at Hallwalls on May 15, 2003.

The first thing I realized about Veridian  Technologies was that crash tests are incredibly complex activities that involve a lot of highly specialized collaborators who use space age technologies to intervene space and time at the event of an accident.

Perhaps the windsheild of a future mode of transpertation would act as a molecular transport, transphasing our accident to a future safe zone.

Future THIN MAN
would be constructed of polygenetic synthetics and a molecular regenesis string-transporter instead of AIR bags. Beam me out of this mess, technology!

My 2003, virtual and real cyborg is modelled after the original "THIN MAN" dummy. (aprox. 1/4-1/2", cut metal, machine screws, washers and wing nuts)
